At least a dozen tornadoes caused immense damage across the Treasure Coast a year ago; rebuilding efforts continue.

Some folks in Mexico Beach might have had a familiar and unsettling feeling Monday morning. The town that was destroyed by Hurricane Michael seven years ago was hit by a possible tornado early Monday morning.

The National Weather Service issued Tornado Watch 633 for southeast Louisiana and southern Mississippi until noon CDT as storms bring the risk of damaging winds and tornadoes.

With trees down, power outages and debris scattered across Tempe, it seemed like a tornado touched down in the area.
