A replicator is a machine that can instantly produce a wide variety of items like food, clothing, or spare parts literally out of thin air. It works by taking molecules in the atmosphere and essentially restructures them to create the desired item, such as a nice hot cup of Earl Grey tea. Before something can be replicated, the pattern for the desired item first has to be saved, but not everything can be replicated. For example, gold-
