In this magnetic experiment I show you how using a Halbach array can double the power of the magnets. This particular arrangement of the magnets, bound by means of glue allows to almost double the magnetic field from an array side while the other side the magnetic field is almost zero. Things are starting to get very interesting with these Magnet Arrays. What I find very fascinating about them is the required input force needed to push 12 magnets through the center of 1 array vs 3 arrays. You'll notice that required input force doesn't really change. Using 2 arrays I gain more in output force versus 1 array. What i'm seeing here now is a friction issue being caused by a slight misaligned between all 3 arrays.
